What is Sonar ECHO?

ECHO Boards are Sonar’s social mindshare leaderboard engine using AI to assist in evaluation of impact. It tracks public X (Twitter) activity around a project or campaign and ranks accounts by real mindshare, the buzz, the memes, the narrative momentum. Whatever type of content and attention and information you create, Echo scores the share of voice you bring to the movement.

How do ECHO campaigns work?

Each project campaign gets its own leaderboard and a tailored scoring algo (defined with the project). We publish these specific inputs and update scores on a fixed cadence (e.g., hourly/daily) until the campaign ends.

What is the ECHO Mindshare Score?

A composite signal that blends:

• Relevance: how specifically a post is about the project/topic

• Quality engagement: replies/quotes that add context (not low-signal likes, ai slop, spam)

• Reputation weighting: credibility of the account and its audience

• Originality: novel analysis beats copy-paste or volume

Does ECHO include on-chain data?

No: ECHO scoring is social-attention data. If a campaign wants on-chain behavior (holders, LPs, product usage) those are handled by Sonar CONTRi(bute) and clearly labeled as a hybrid campaign.

What content does ECHO capture?

Public X posts and quotes that include the project’s handle, ticker/symbol, and campaign keywords within the defined window. (We don’t read DMs or private posts.)

How do you keep it organic (no bots/farming)?

We apply reputation and anti-gaming filters evaluated using AI (account history, network patterns, velocity anomalies, duplicate content). Low-signal or coordinated spam gets down-weighted or excluded. Echoboards scoring algo penalize any accounts that tries to game the system.

Are brand/project accounts eligible?

Leaderboards may display them, but reward eligibility is typically restricted to individual users/creators. Each campaign sets its own eligibility rules.

How are rewards handled?

The campaign project owner funds and sends rewards. Sonar provides the end ranked list (CSV/Merkle) and snapshot proofs; we don’t custody or distribute campaign tokens yet.

Do I need to log in?

Viewing is publicly accessible. For reward eligibility, we simply ask you to login via X handle and link a wallet where you want your rewards to be paid out. Requirements are shown on the campaign page.

Can my ECHO score change after I post?

Yes. Scores refresh on a schedule and finalize at the published cutoff. We may adjust filters to keep results fair; any material change is noted in the campaign rules.
